So, here’s a little bit about me…
I studied and worked in Australia, Brazil, Germany and the UK. Studying Design at the Köln International School of Design in Cologne and Animation at the Royal College of Art in London.
After spending almost a decade abroad, I returned to Germany and moved to my hometown Karlsruhe, where I’m now working as a freelance motion graphics designer and animation/art director.
With over fifteen years experience across multiple design industries, my portfolio covers a wide range of projects, from high profile music, sports, broadcast and entertainment clients.
My short movies screened at festivals in Athen, Berlin, London, New York and throughout California.
When not doodling creatures for my label Gretel hänselt Hansel (Yes, I also do textile design and illustrations for kids clothing) I can be found building (rather wonky) furniture, eating my way through food markets or shouting in the front row of wrestling events – but, nowadays you’re more likely to find me shouting on the playground.
I’m also part of the Eggplant Collective, which is a group of illustrators, animators, sculpture artists, doodlers and doers all brought together by a mutual love for character design, who met at the first ever Pictoplasma Academy in 2013.
